I attended Texas A & M University and California State University at Chico where I earned my B.A. in Psychology, minoring in Collective Bargaining. I worked in Human Resources for both Macy's and The San Francisco Hilton Hotel. My responsibilities included interviewing and hiring applicants, new employee training and managing employee records. After 5 years, I returned to school to pursue a career in the Dental Hygiene field. After working 9 years as a Dental Hygienist, I had the opportunity to teach as Clinical Instructor in Diablo Valley College's Dental Hygiene Program. After the birth of my two sons, I was fortunate to be able to leave the traditional work force and stay home with my children. During that time I volunteered at my children's school, helping in the classrooms and serving on the board of the PTA. I chaired fundraisers and helped manage a large budget. Most recently, I have taken on the role of Office Administrator at the The Venardi Law Firm. It is an exciting time to be part of this growing practice.
My hobbies include: cycling, baking and reading. Most of all, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and children. Together, our family participates in boating, camping, skiing and surfing.
